Be Inspired!

I'm watching the Bible show on History Channel, and my heart is overflowing with love and joy! They just showed the part when God tells Mary that she is blessed and will be the mother of Jesus. I have always loved that story; Mary was a normal, average young lady. Then God chose her and told her not to fear, and that she has found favor in His eyes. I get chills every time that story is read during Advent season in church. While we wait for Christmas, we are reminded that God chooses humble, loving people to do great things. With God, even the most ordinary people can become extraordinary! God has a plan for everyone's lives. It is so amazing! We are so lucky to have a God who cares for us and loves us enough to send His son to earth to live as one of us and even die for us so that we can spend eternity with Him in heaven. We are in the middle of Lent now; I challenge you to be inspired to worship and serve God in whatever way you can. We, like Mary, can do great things with God's help!
