Doctor Who

In case you were wondering why my background is full of police boxes, it is because I have recently become slightly obsessed with the BBC show "Doctor Who." I first learned about the show from Geek Pinterest. If you don't know what Pinterest is, you should never go on there because it is extremely addictive. I've given it up for Lent, and it's been hard. Anyway, I digress. Doctor Who is about an alien called The Doctor from the planet Gallifrey that travels through space and time in a police box called the TARDIS, which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. (It's bigger on the inside.) He meets humans, they become his companions, and they go on all kinds of adventures together and fight fearsome aliens like the weeping angels (don't blink!) and Daleks. The cool thing is, the Doctor meets all kind of strange looking creatures on his journeys that look strange or frightening, but instead of being afraid of them or avoiding them, he always tries to befriend them. He doesn't care what they look like; he is friendly to everything! The show has great characters and it is very well thought out. It's a pretty neat show!
