Leo Valdez!

Okay, friends. We all knew this day was coming. In case you didn't know, I am a huge fan of Rick Riordan's "Heroes of Olympus" series. Leo Valdez is my favorite book crush of all time! In the series, he is a demigod (one human parent, one god parent) son of Hephaestus (Greek god of the forge). In the series, my favorite god is Hephaestus, so that already makes Leo awesome. But it gets better. Since he is Hephaestus's son, he has the ability to control machinery and he has this epic tool belt that magically summons any tool he needs (and breath mints and tacos). His cabin at Camp Half-Blood has an underground workshop that I would so very much love to visit (if it was real, of course.) He discovered an old warehouse in the woods and used all the stuff in it to repair a steampunk mechanical dragon that he named Festus. When Festus crashed in The Lost Hero (oh, the sadness!) Leo salvaged him and made him the figurehead of his greatest invention, a flying/sailing ship called Argo II complete with death rays, unlimited burritos, a dubstep soundboard, and it's controlled with a Wii remote! He also has pyrokinesis, which is the ability to summon and control fire! He's always cracking jokes and he provides the comic relief for his group of epic friends. I wish they would make a movie! Here's some of my favorite fan art. :)
